There are many resources across campus available to staff, faculty, and supervisors for the range of issues that can impact working relationships. If you have any question about which resource is the appropriate one for your situation, please contact Human Resources.

Conflict Resolution

Conflict is a natural consequence of human interaction. When conflict is resolved positively, it can lead to consensus, discovery, innovation and creativity. However, in some situations, conflict can also be non-constructive and sometimes destructive.

Council for Equity and Community (CEC)

The CEC is a committeee of Lehigh faculty, staff and students committed to serving as a campus resource and agent of cultural change. The CEC encourages constructive dialogue and works toward building an equitable community at Lehigh.

Diversity and Inclusion

Employee Relations Advisory Committee (ERAC)

ERAC is charged with promoting good employee relations. The committee explores issues such as communications, staff enrichment, and social functions. You may contact committee representatives with ideas or suggestions to enhance the university environment or improve work relationships.

The university’s Internal Audit Office maintains this secure, confidential phone line for employees and others to report any concerns regarding business irregularities, ethical concerns, or compliance issues.

Faculty and Staff of Color Network

The Faculty and Staff of Color Network offers support and resources to welcome and foster a greater sense of community with faculty and staff of color on Lehigh's campus.

Harassment and Discrimination

Lehigh has a comprehensive harassment policy, a policy on Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action/Non-Discrimination, and adheres to Title IX, the law prohibiting discrimination on the basis of sex in any federally funded education program or activity. Cases of harassment involving staff members should be brought directly to the attention of the Employee Relations staff in Human Resources. Lactation Rooms for Nursing Parents at Lehigh

The Center for Gender Equity supports nursing, lactation, and feeding of children wherever the parent is comfortable. Follow the link to see a list of Lactation Friendly rooms and more information.

Lehigh Faculty/Staff Pride Network

The Pride Network is a place of support for LGBTQIA faculty and staff and a place for those who are interested in fostering and sustaining a welcoming and affirming climate on campus for LGBTQIA people.

Ombuds Services

An ombudsperson is a designated neutral or impartial dispute resolution practitioner whose major function is to provide confidential and informal assistance to all students, faculty, and staff in achieving resolutions to problems that they may not have been able to resolve through existing University resources and procedures.

The Pride Center

The mission of the Pride Center for Sexual Orientation and Gender Diversity is to promote the academic and personal growth of all lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex, asexual, and ally (LGBTQIA) students; achieve equity for LGBTQIA students with respect to access and inclusion; and contribute to the creation of a more socially just institution and community.

Uprise Health

Uprise Health is Lehigh’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provider. Services include counseling and referrals, online resources, and on-campus workshops.
