What do you like best about your position?
I enjoy the challenge about various scenarios and decisions. I enjoy encouraging others to do the same. My position allows me the opportunity to do this in a challenging and supportive way.
What time do you arrive at work? What time do you leave work?
My position is an 83% effort position which means that I work full time (from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.) 10 months out of the year and have two months where I am not scheduled to work.
Why did you choose Lehigh University as your employer of choice?
Lehigh offered a position that allows me to utilize my strengths: creative thinking, mediation, and problem solving. It is wonderful to be involved in the positive development of young adults.
What Lehigh University events and activities have you participated in beyond your department to become a more active member of the Lehigh community?
I have a high level of involvement in activities within Athletics but I also enjoy events at Zoellner Arts Center and listening to guest speakers at various venues on campus.
What is your favorite location on campus and why?
I have several: Linderman Library for its nostalgic atmosphere, book and periodical selection, and beautiful stained glass dome; the many venues on Goodman Campus are an outlet for student athletes and an opportunity for everyone to come together in a relaxed atmosphere.
What do you like best about working for an academic institution?
Learning and understanding things from a variety of different perspectives.
