Exempt
Stacie Brennan
Curator of Education
Lehigh University Art Galleries
For the past seven years, Stacie Brennan has transformed the Lehigh University Art Galleries into a vibrant center for learning, creativity, and community connection. As the museum’s first Curator of Education, she has built a dynamic range of programs that serve not only Lehigh students and faculty, but also schools, families, and the broader Bethlehem community.
Drawing on her extensive background in arts education, Stacie has strengthened the galleries’ role as a teaching museum—one where art becomes a gateway to critical thinking, creativity, and interdisciplinary learning. She has worked closely with faculty to integrate the museum into academic life, creating opportunities for students across all disciplines to engage with art in meaningful and thought-provoking ways.
Beyond campus, Stacie has deepened LUAG’s connection to the community by developing inclusive programs, fostering local partnerships, and bringing art into public spaces. Her leadership was especially impactful during the pandemic, when she ensured continued access to the arts through innovative virtual programming that kept people connected and inspired.
What truly distinguishes Stacie’s work is her belief in the power of art to support well-being and build community. Through her vision and dedication, she has expanded not only what the museum does, but what it means—making LUAG a place where creativity, dialogue, and human connection thrive.
John W. and Barbara R. Woltjen Award

Leila Ehtesham
Assistant Manager
Design Labs
In just a short time at Lehigh, Leila has transformed the wood and metal shops at Mountaintop into vibrant, high-engagement spaces that serve hundreds of students each year. What were once functional labs are now thriving centers of innovation, creativity, and hands-on learning.
Leila’s impact goes far beyond operations. She has created an environment where students feel confident stepping into spaces that might otherwise seem intimidating—guiding them, encouraging them, and helping them realize what they are capable of.
Her leadership is perhaps best reflected in the creation of the Mountaintop 3D Print Hub—an initiative she built from the ground up. From developing workflows and infrastructure to training student staff, Leila established a resource that has become essential to teaching, research, and prototyping across the university.
She is also a dedicated mentor, building a student team that is not only technically skilled, but deeply invested in the culture of the labs. Because of her, these spaces are safer, more organized, and more welcoming than ever before.
Faculty and colleagues across campus seek her out as a trusted partner—someone who is thoughtful, solution-oriented, and committed to helping others succeed.
While her work often happens behind the scenes, its impact is unmistakable. Leila has helped reshape the Mountaintop experience into one defined by access, innovation, and community.

She played a leading role in the implementation of HousingCloud, guiding a major system transition that required rethinking workflows, ensuring data accuracy, and coordinating across multiple campus partners—all while maintaining a seamless experience for students.
At the same time, she helped support the rollout of Transact, strengthening the connection between housing and dining operations and improving the overall residential experience.
What makes Michaela’s contributions especially notable is how she approached this work. During a period of leadership transition within Housing Services, she stepped forward—providing stability, making critical decisions, and ensuring continuity during a time of uncertainty. Her ability to lead with clarity, adaptability, and confidence has been instrumental to her team’s success.
Michaela’s impact extends well beyond systems and processes. She is a trusted collaborator across campus—known for her responsiveness, transparency, and ability to bring people together to solve complex challenges. She understands that behind every system is a student experience—and she keeps that at the center of everything she does.
In a very short time, she has established herself as a leader, a partner, and a rising professional whose contributions are already shaping the future of Lehigh.
