Tax Withholdings

As a fully remote employee, you are responsible for ensuring the correct amount of federal and state income tax is withheld from your paycheck.

  • Federal Income Tax: Complete Form W-4 (IRS) Employee's Withholding Allowance Certificate to figure the correct amount of federal income tax to have withheld from your paycheck.

  • New Hampshire does not have a general state income tax on wages.

Leave Policies

In addition to Lehigh's Time Away From Work options, New Hampshire workers can participate in the New Hampshire Paid Family and Medical Leave plan (NH PFML). This is a voluntary insurance plan that provides NH workers with up to 60% wage replacement coverage for up to 6 weeks per year for specified leaves of absence from the workplace.
