Career Enrichment at Lehigh is committed to your success. We know that there is no single path that fits the needs of every staff member. That's why we have shifted from a structured certificate track program to a personalized certificate model that aligns with our vision and Lehigh’s Strategic Plan.
While maintaining essential training opportunities, our new approach enables employees to tailor their educational journey to fit their current responsibilities, career goals, and personal aspirations. By adapting learning paths to individual needs, participants gain the flexibility to enhance strengths and address areas for growth. We aim for this transformation to instill in employees a strong sense of ownership of their professional development. This new philosophy also provides opportunities for us to introduce additional tracks as new technologies and skill requirements emerge in our ever-evolving world.

Nope! How you plan your certificate track is completely up to you! At the end of each quarter, our CE@L staff check the progress of our professional development certificate tracks. If you have been identified as having completed a track, you will be contacted by a staff member to congratulate you on your accomplishment and provide information we may require to process the track completion. Once the staff have processed those who have completed a CE@L track, you will receive a certificate and letter of completion to share with others. Your supervisor and/or manager will also be informed of your accomplishment via email.
Although both are used to support growth and help you achieve success, they are different entities. Certificate tracks are meant to be customized for you by you. ILEPs are more structured and typically requested more commonly by a supervisor to support you in your goals or prepare you for an upcoming change/promotion.
