Lehigh University provides tuition benefit programs to assist full benefits eligible faculty and staff with the cost of their eligible children's post-secondary education.
Definition of Dependent Children
- For purposes of the tuition benefits, the term "dependent child" applies to unmarried
- Natural sons and daughters
- Adopted sons and daughters
- Step-sons and step-daughters
of the faculty or staff member who are his or her "dependents" as defined under the Internal Revenue Code (see IRS publication 501, "Qualifying Child," p.12).
- The term "dependent child of a domestic partner" applies to unmarried
- Natural sons and daughters
- Adopted sons and daughters
of the faculty or staff member's domestic partner who are his or her "dependents" as defined under the Internal Revenue Code (see IRS publication 501, "Qualifying Child," p.12).

Tuition Benefits at Lehigh University for Undergraduate Study
Lehigh University provides an up to 100 percent undergraduate tuition remission for eligible dependent children of full time benefits eligible faculty and staff and their domestic partners.
Tuition Benefits at Lehigh University for Graduate Study
Lehigh University provides 100 percent graduate study tuition remission for unmarried, eligible dependent children of full time benefits eligible faculty and staff and their domestic partners.
Tuition Cash Grant Program for Study at Other Institutions
Dependent children of full time benefits eligible faculty and exempt staff may be eligible for a grant of up to $5,000 per year if they attend another regionally accredited post-secondary degree granting institution.
These benefits may or may not apply to Centennial School employees. Check with Human Resources to decide eligibility.
