When we catch someone in the act of being awesome at Lehigh, we like to let them know. That’s why we have three levels of awards to acknowledge the variety of ways that employees make Lehigh stronger.

These awards recognize staff members (both individuals and teams) who demonstrate outstanding behaviors or produce exceptional results. Recipients receive a $300 check, a medallion, and recognition in the program at the Lehigh Appreciation Dinner. Anyone at Lehigh can nominate a staff for a TEA.
Spot Bonus Awards provide a timely cash bonus ranging from $300 to $3,000 to staff members who have contributed significantly to attaining a discrete and ambitious goal or task above and beyond what we would normally expect. Only supervisors can nominate employees for Spot Bonus Awards.
The highest university employee recognition, the LU Awards are presented each spring. Nominations usually begin during the winter. These awards are recognition for proven and sustained excellence over a longer period of time. Each University Award has a unique set of criteria.
