State Income Tax: As a fully remote employee working in Connecticut, you are required to complete Form CT-W4, Employee's Withholding Certificate. This form allows you to select your desired state income tax withholding. If you do not submit this form, your employer may be required to withhold at a default rate.

The Connecticut Paid Leave Act provides covered workers with income replacement benefits when they are out of work for certain qualifying family or health reasons. Connecticut Pregnancy Discrimination and Accommodation in the Workplace
Connecticut law prohibits discrimination against an employee or job applicant because of her pregnancy, childbirth, or related conditions, including lactation. This includes providing reasonable accommodations such as being permitted to sit while working, more frequent breaks, assistance with manual labor, light duty assignments, modified work schedules, temporary transfers, and time off to recover from childbirth. Employers are also required to provide break time and appropriate facilities (not a bathroom) for expressing milk.
