HireTouch Applicant Tracking System Access

for Hiring Managers, Admin Support, and Search Committee Members

 

Applicant tracking for classified staff positions at Lehigh University is facilitated therough the use of HireTouch, an easy-to-use, web-based program. With this system, we can:

  • Post open positions for recruiting internal and external applicants
  • Review applications, resumes, cover letters, and other applicant documents
  • Schedule interviews and attach notes
  • Track applicants as they progress through the recruitment and selecton process
  • Initiate timely, customizable email communications with applicants and others involved in the search process.

The applicant tracking system (ATS) centralizes information accessibility and automates the hiring process which enables hiring managers, search committees, employment coordinators, and others involved in position searches to handle a large applicants more efficiently.

Access to the HireTouch applicant tracking system is provided to hiring managers and designated admin support staff and search committee members assigned to specific searches. All system users must sign a confidentiality agreement before access is granted. New users are set up by Human Resources with a user name and password. For more information, call ext. 85020.

The following user guides explain the various features of the ATS and how they are utilized to move job candidates through the various steps of the search process.

* Searches for nonexempt positions are centralized through Human Resources Office with applications review and preliminary screeing steps handled by HR staff working with the hiring manager. Searches for exempt positions are decentralized with the hiring manager taking on full responsibility for the search process from preliminary screening through reference checks.
