By now, you’ve received a written offer letter and onboarding information via email. Please take note of the information in the Preparing For Your Arrival guide you received in that email.  Fill out the following forms and bring your documentation with you to the Human Resources Office on or before your first day of work.

Complete Background Checks – You should have received information and instructions for completing the required background checks via email. Have you...

  • Received an email from CBY?
  • Completed the background questionnaire and the Disclosure and Authorization form?
  • Completed the child abuse clearance process?
  • Completed the FBI fingerprinting process?

New employees must successfully complete all required background checks within their first 90 days of employment. Contact us at inemploy@lehigh.edu with any questions or concerns.

Preview Lehigh Benefits – New employees who are eligible for benefits attend a benefits orientation in the Human Resources Office. Your offer letter includes your scheduled date and time. Click here to find out more about Lehigh's benefit programs.

You will need to select and enroll in the benefit plans within your first 30 days of employment. Benefits become effective on the first of the month following your start date. Enrollment forms and additional information are provided during the benefits orientation.

Learn the Campus – Why not take a virtual tour of Lehigh's campuses? Click here to find campus maps and driving directions. You’ll want to become familiar with the location of your office or work site relative to travel routes, parking, and the rest of the university.

Confirm Date, Time, and Place of Arrival – Your start date and work schedule are specified in your written offer letter. However, before you arrive on campus, you may want to confirm with your supervisor the date, time of arrival, and location you are to report to on your first day. You may be told to come directly to your new department or to stop by Human Resources first.
