Exempt Employees - Salaried employees working at the Centennial School who perform work that is defined as “exempt” from the overtime and minimum wage requirements of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
An exempt employee of Centennial School is eligible for full benefits if he or she is scheduled to work a minimum of 1,560 hours per year.
- Full Benefits: At least 1560 hours per year
- Partial Benefits: Less than 1560 hours per year
Nonexempt Employees - Salaried employees working at the Centennial School who perform work that is not exempt from the overtime and minimum wage requirements of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
A full time schedule would be working 37.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year, or 1,950 hours per year. For benefit purposes, a nonexempt employee of Centennial School is eligible for full benefits if he or she is scheduled to work a minimum of 75 percent of a full time schedule.

- Partial Benefits: Less than 75 percent of a full time schedule
