LVAIC Tuition Exchange

Tuition benefits continue to be available to eligible retirees throughout their retired life. They and/or their eligible dependents that use the available tuition benefits must meet all eligibility requirements for the specific tuition benefit program utilized. The benefit continues to be available to the dependent children of a deceased university retiree and to the surviving spouse/domestic partner of the deceased retiree until and unless he/she remarries or becomes deceased.

As one of the six members of the Lehigh Valley Association of Independent Colleges (LVAIC), Lehigh participates in an undergraduate tuition exchange program for eligible spouses and domestic partners* of full benefits eligible faculty and staff members.

Tuition Benefits at Lehigh University for Undergraduate Study

Lehigh University provides up to 100% undergraduate tuition remission benefit for eligible spouses and domestic partners of full benefits eligible faculty and staff members. 

As a member of the Lehigh Valley Association of Independent Colleges (LVAIC), Lehigh University is one of six institutions in the region that participate in an undergraduate tuition exchange program for full benefits-eligible faculty and staff members.

The benefit is available to salaried faculty and staff members who are regularly scheduled to work at least 75 percent of a full-time schedule.
