Flu and Shingles Vaccine Benefits for Lehigh Medical Plan Participants

Influenza (flu) was associated with more than 35.5 million illnesses, more than 16.5 million medical visits, 490,600 hospitalizations, and 34,200 deaths during the 2018-2019 influenza season.

Flu season usually ends in April. So even if you haven’t gotten sick yet, you’re not out of the woods. A vaccine is still your best defense. It’s not too late to protect yourself and your dependents.
