Partial Benefits Eligibility - Nonexempt Staff

Part time nonexempt staff working less than 75% of a full time schedule at Lehigh are eligible for the following benefits, except where otherwise noted:

Full Benefits Eligibility - Nonexempt Staff

Nonexempt staff members working at least 75 percent of a full time schedule at Lehigh are eligible for the following benefits:

Lehigh Undergraduate Tuition Benefit

Lehigh University provides a 100 percent undergraduate tuition remission benefit for full time benefits-eligible faculty and staff.

The number of credits for which you can receive remission depends on your work schedule:

Salaried faculty and staff who are regularly scheduled to work at least 75 percent of a full time schedule

Staff

Exempt Staff Members 

Salaried employees who perform work that is defined as "exempt" from the overtime and minimum wage requirements of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

A 100% full time exempt staff schedule requires a minimum of 40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year or 2,080 hours per year.

An exempt staff member is eligible for full benefits if he or she is scheduled to work a minimum of 1,560 hours per year or 75 percent of a full time schedule.
